Male chauvinist pigs

Rires !

Flocon a dit…

Flocon a dit…

Ned,

Hmmm... j'ai dû manquer un épisode here.

Maybe a shortcut happened in my poorly wired brain but I fail to see any link with Islam or islamophobia.

I notice that a lot of people come to your blog via the post about how American lesbians perverted innocent French woman. The last one came via a search for "perverted lesbians". LOL! They must have been a tad disappointed with what they found. ;)

Anijo,

"I notice that a lot of people come to your blog via the post about how American lesbians perverted innocent French woman"

This thread, with its title, is the perfect place to raise this issue.

Nearly three years to this day I wrote a post with this picture.

A non essential post indeed as indicated then with Ned and SuperFrenchie commenting.
Period.

This post I added last year to my other blog with texts in English only.

E-VE-RY DAY 5 to 10 visitors arrive on this very thread after they've found the picture on Google image.

Why do these guys arrive on Me and America instead of Shall We talk since the picture is still here to be seen is another mystery of the Internet.

Now the other day I made a screen capture of the Feedjit counter and here it is...

On February the 14th all visitors arrived from the U.S.

From all over the world...

One way or another, the Flemmish senator knows what she's taking about...

Flocon a dit…

Also, j'avais écrit un billet pour SF (with you, Bernarda and Zombie12toes commenting) il y a 4 ans que j'ai repris pour Shall We Talk? en janvier 2008.

Le titre original était Sexe, love and passion à la française.

I've just looked at it again and I realize this is where Ned clashed with two other Americans

You can count on Ned to entertain the audience, lol!

Anyway, avec ce titre je recevais tous les jours 3 ou 4 visiteurs until I changed the title into "Titre désactivé, trop de visiteurs déçus!"

Il arrive encore, once a week maybe, that someone lands on this old post just to leave disappointed...

Remember the guy who arrived on Espace détente a couple of weeks ago with something interesting to say but he was in a hurry and will return?

Now consider where the word bra comes from... Yeah, French "brassière".

There are 300 million people living in the US; say about 150 million women. If 90% of them wear said bras, is it inappropriate to say that Frenchness stick to their skin?

And here's the reason why the French in general infuriate American males: They have to deal with these maddening bras before they can reach their ultimate goal. Not always an easy task...

Rires ! Flocon, I am only beginning to understand that at heart, you are a philosophical comedian such as Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert.

Flocon a dit…

Don't know if Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert would appreciate their names associated with mine though...

I'm knackered and can't think of light short posts. I'm sleep deprived and a bit saturated with my "philosophical" readings on the Internet...

Yet I have to keep the audience satisfied... :-D

Ned Ludd a dit…

Flocon, I was referring to the fact that the religion, or ideology, of Islam is of MCP's, by MCP's, and for MCP's.

One thing that made me laugh with the uprisings(not really revolutions)in Tunisia and Egypt was that you saw groups of men dancing together without a woman in sight.

You could wonder if it was Greenwich Village or San Francisco.

Ned Ludd a dit…

halalslaughter

Another reason to see the stupidity of Muslims following ancient rituals, in this case halal. Not for the squeamish.

Flocon a dit…

Ned,

Your comment provides an interesting example of what induction is all about.

It was simply impossible for anyone to understand what Islam had to do with the Flemish Senator's remark. She's a woman and she's not a Muslim afaik.

--> Deduction impossible.

Now that you explain what you had in mind, it makes more sense, although slightly contrived :-D

Elle vient de loin celle-là...

Hence one had to come from what you had in mind in order to return to the core of the post.

I guess you're more accustomed to MCP's mentality than I am.

So far, what's going on in the Middle East seems positive but I agree, we're not witnessing any sort of revolution.

Flocon a dit…

I'm squeamish and don't want to see horrors so I leave it to non squeamish to follow your link...

I'm a veggie and refuse to witness murders. It makes me sick and I'm already disgusted with the very existence of humanity.

Ned Ludd a dit…

Flocon, veggies are worth as much respect as animals, only we don't hear them cry, but we can see them "bleed".

Flocon a dit…

Ned,

Hmmm... I must have made myself misunderstood here because once again I don't get your answer.

Isn't veggie a shortening for vegetarian?

Hmmm... On second thought veggie may not mean vegetarian...

Ned Ludd a dit…

"Veggie" is also short for "vegetable". Many years ago I worked in an office where someone put up a poster: "Be kind to vegetables, don't eat them." No one was offended.

Thanks for the link to Polaire, I missed it somehow the last time, but this time I downloaded it.
